Hey,

My name is Simileoluwa David Aluko, and I’m a curious software engineer with varied technology interests. I’m currently working remotely from the UK with Yelp, I specialize in Android development, contributing to features that enhance how businesses and consumers connect. I hold a Master’s degree in Advanced Computer Science from Newcastle University, where I earned a distinction, and a First-Class degree in Computer Engineering from Covenant University in Nigeria.

Over the years, I’ve developed and led several mobile application projects—building everything from mobile payment applications in Lagos to research-based Flutter apps during my Masters in the UK. I’m also a portrait artist, growing photographer, and active community builder, having led developer meetups for Kotlin Nigeria and volunteered to empower kids and young adults with digital skills through nonprofits.
